Serious pathologies
Andrew Ahenkora Physiotherapy practice provides care for severe conditions as defined in Appendix G of the NSC bylaws. The list of heavy pathologies is quite long. Here are some of them: progressive scoliosis from 20°, congenital and disabling skeletal malformation, arthrogryposis, chronic inflammatory polyarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, myopathy, chronic irreversible obstructive and/or restrictive bronchopulmonary disease, paralysis, paraplegia, tetraplegia, hemiplegia, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, lymphedema after heart surgery.
In this context, interdisciplinarity is an essential asset. The important thing is to take the patient as a whole in order to provide the most appropriate care for his or her pathology.
These acts and services correspond to codes ZK14, ZK15 in the CNS nomenclature.
